Also included is material pertaining to Isabella (Beecher) Hooker (1822-1907), and other family members, as well as Lyman Beecher Stowe's correspondence and research on Charlotte (Perkins) Gilman and actress Charlotte Cushman. Bulk of the collection pertains to Harriet (Beecher) Stowe, her husband, Calvin and their children; their personal and professional correspondence includes letters from publishers and prominent people Harriet Stowe met in England.
