Intended to supplement and to be bound with Sibly's ed. of Culpeper's English physician and complete herbal (i.e., British herbal), but issued separately without the Culpeper work. According to the directions to the binder on p. 76 (4th group), the Appendix was supposed to be bound at the end of Culpeper's British herbal.

Plate facing p. 312 in Key to physic, and plate facing p. 58 in the Appendix are dated 1794.

The Key to physic has [13] leaves of plates; the Appendix has [19] leaves of plates.
