Note
This album contains thirteen black and white photographs that document the operations of the Durgin Shoe Co. in April 1912. The images include the exterior of the factory building, the company office, the cutting rooms, stitching rooms, lasting rooms, and finishing and packing rooms. Most of the photographs show factory employees at work at their stations. The album includes an earlier photograph that depicts male workers posing outside James Durgin & Son in West Newbury, Massachusetts.

Durgin Shoe Co. manufactured women's shoes in Haverhill, Massachusetts, during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
