A "line-a-day" diary for 1920-1924 describing Hull's work in various stage plays, her social life, and her work with the Actors' Equity Association. This diary, part of Josephine Sherwood Hull Papers, is numbered "17v" in Series I. Family and biographical, of that collection. The diary is signed, "Josephine Sherwood Hull, 135 West 56th St., New York City."

Stage and screen actress (Radcliffe College, A.B., 1899), Hull was married to the actor, Shelley Hull.
