Catalog Search

Search tips

Note 1: Names of authors sometimes reflect the authority record present in the OCLC database. These authorities were created by OCLC member libraries as well as by the Library of Congress. Names may therefore be presented in unusual or unfamiliar form. If your first name search returns zero results, expand the search to retrieve multiple name forms by using a wildcard.

Note 2: Transliteration conventions used in cataloging include ALA-LC Romanization Tables for Arabic and Persian. Ottoman Turkish is spelled according to the rules of modern Turkish. Wildcards are also encouraged to retrieve records with alternative spellings, especially in the case of Turkish (e.g., Ahme* retrieves both Ahmed and Ahmet).
