PRESTO Widgets: E-Research Search Form
Follow the steps below to create a customized E-Research search form for your users. In the final step, the PRESTO widget generator will produce a snippet of HTML code that you can copy and paste into a web page.
Scope of e-resources: Included are all e-resources and e-journals offered by E-Research that can be searched as a group (these are the resources available under the "Cross Search" option in E-Research). As of January 2010, there were over 250 cross-searchable e-resources and e-journals.
About the search forms: "Quick Search" is a simple Google-like form that searches across resources you designate as "Primary" in Step 1. The "Advanced Search" form offers the user a choice of resources to search; resources designated as "Primary" are searched by default and "Secondary" resources are optional. You can use one or both forms as needed.
